Ha! This is hilarious because it's SO overexaggerated and ridiculous. God forbid someone stop me from kissing them to pee in a topiary bush :P
That said, I think it plays into the gender stereotypes of women as well... women who expect candlelit baths, romantic dinners, kisses in the middle of a perfectly-pruned maze, romantic fireside love, and intense slow-dancing and who roll their eyes/are horrified or disgusted at their partners' antics. Realistically, I think most long-term couples expect stuff like nose-picking and needing to take bathroom breaks!
That's an interesting take! To be honest, I never thought about the vid as portraying stereotypes of women too, maybe because I see it as 'normal' dates - but then again, that's where all the miscommunication arises in the first place!=p
Ha ha spare the poor guy, Diana! If those romanticized getaways and idealized dates are going to be the norm, the world might be a better place (the ladies are happier which means the guys are happier too), but the guy would be much ruined financially...
